Background

General Descriptions

At any of Career Advantage's offices, you as an applicant can expect to spend approximately one hour completing a personnel application, authorizations and various tests evaluating your different skills and abilities. We will also go through an extensive orientation process covering our policies, procedures and safety awareness.

Career Advantage has the following jobs available within our regional offices. To apply for a position click on the location nearest to you on the map above.

Light Industrial Positions
Our light industrial positions involve assembly, inspection, packaging and press operator work. Generally no prior experience is necessary and training can be provided. Select clients require a negative pre-employment drug test and the ability to work overtime. We do offer short and long term assignments with many of them being temp-to-perm positions. Most of our positions offer benefits once hired by our client. A steady work history that shows commitment to performance, attendance and attitude as well as reliable transportation is preferred.

If you are interested in applying for a light industrial position, Career Advantage will administer basic math, measurement and matching tests. Please make sure you bring two forms of identification (driver's license and social security card are preferred) and your last three employment positions references (company names, addresses, job duties and phone numbers).

The above positions start from $6.50/hr. to $12.50/hr. depending on the skill level and job. All shifts are available.

 

Clerical Positions
Our clerical positions involve any work duties conducted in an office environment. These can include typing, filing, computer work, etc. Generally prior experience and a resume are necessary. Most of our positions are temp-to-perm and full-time assignments. However, we also offer part-time and short term assignments. Rate of pay is based on the skill requirements of the position.

If you are interested in applying for a clerical position Career Advantage, Inc., will administer basic math, filing and spelling tests. Our Qwiz office skills testing will evaluate any computer skills or experience. Please make sure you bring two forms of identification (driver's license and social security card are preferred) and your last three employment positions references (company names, addresses, job duties and phone numbers).

Positions are both full and part time hours and range in salary from $7.00 - $11.00/hr. to start.
